Renge-Ji (C-149)

At two o'clock the afternoon sun shines faintly through the branches of the trees. Fragrant-olive trees sway delicately, with fallen pine needles on their leaves. On some of the leaves one sees the shells of cicadas: light- brown corpses made cruelly transparent in the autumn sun.
